Northwest Savings Bank |
Northwest
Savings Bank is Warren
County’s hometown bank with five county offices offering a
complete line of banking and financial planning services.
Construction of Northwest Savings Bank’s technology center
in Conewango Township is under way. The new Information Systems
Building will be a hub of operations featuring on-line, real
time information for more than 145 community banking offices
and 225 ATM machines. The construction is under the supervision
of Potomac Builders and Habiterra Design Group is responsible
for the building’s design.
In August of 2002, Northwest Bancorp, Inc., parent company
of Northwest Savings Bank, announced that it would build a
new four-story office building and expand its corporate headquarters
in downtown Warren. The new facility will consolidate the
company’s corporate operations within the city and will allow
the company to expand in the future.

Northwest Savings Bank is a growing part of the Warren community
and other areas in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Maryland.
Warren has been the home of the bank’s corporate headquarters
since 1974 when it was a small savings and loan institution.
Northwest Bancorp, Inc. now has 145 community banking offices,
employs 1,800 people, including 350 Warren County residents,
and holds assets of $6 billion.
The general contractor for Northwest’s downtown construction
site is E.E. Austin and the building design is by Habiterra
Design Group. The $6 million endeavor is to be completed by
the end of 2004. The consolidation of Northwest’s corporate
headquarters into the new office building is part of “Impact
Warren,” a $50,000,000 million-plus riverfront development project
to restore downtown Warren’s economy.
